For the news shooting in the studio with the green screen I was on camera, however due to health reasons I was not able to shoot on set. For the shoot we had a tripod and camera, the shots were still medium shots front facing the actor.
I was comfortable using the camera because I understand the basics such as changing the aperture and shutter speed to suit a specific shot. I was comfortable using the camera however I am a perfectionist which makes me take my time when lining up a shot and preparing the camera for shooting. In contrast my working hard does mean I take longer than other people however I would prefer to know a shot is perfect than to rush it and be disappointed in the outcome. I take direction well and made sure to constantly keep the director updated on the shot while framing to ensure she was comfortable and happy with the shot. In contrast I tend to ask a lot of questions to ensure I am understanding exactly what the director wants and that the director is comfortable I understand. However I do feel my asking questions and my patience with framing the perfect shot makes me comfortable and much more confident in what I'm doing this can take up a lot of time and can make the director feel as though I don't have confidence in my filming skills.
I was only able to attended the studio shoot for this film due to health reasons, however I did camera work on location for Eleashas group prior to my illness.
