Two person conversation script

Dark in death

INT. MOUNT PLEASANT. IVESTIGATION ROOM. MID-DAY.

Shot 1. Mid shot straight on of Cam sat at the investigation table.

Cameron (EVIL, PSYCHOPATH, INTELIGENT) is sat in the investigation room with a frown on his face and his hands clutched together on the table. There is a sound of a door opening followed by footsteps of Allison walking towards to seat.   

Shot 2. Aerial shot.

Allison (SOPHISTACTED, HARDWORKING, CARING) enters the room holding a file, she sits opposite Cameron and places the folder down on the table loudly.  

ALLISON

We both know why you’re here, so how about you start talking.

Shot 3. Over Allison’s shoulder. (Master shot)

Cameron looks at her and smiles before he leans forward.

CAM

I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Shot 4. Over Cam’s shoulder angled down towards the table. 

Allison pushes a picture towards Cam. Cam does not respond. He lifts the picture looks at it then places it back down and pushes it back toward her.

Shot 5. Cam’s reaction to the picture shot. (Swallows clenches his jaw)

Shot 6. Wide side shot of Allison and Cam.

ALLISON

Can anyone account for your whereabouts for the last two days?

CAM

Yes.

Shot 7. Close up side of Allison’s face.

(Sighs)ALLISON

Care to elaborate?

CAM

Do I have a choice?

Shot 8. Over cams shoulder to Allison.  

ALLISON

We have an eye witness who says they saw you with Lara moments before her abduction.

Medium close up of Cam.

CAM

I have no idea who she is.

ALLISON

Somehow I don’t believe you.

Shot 9. Wide side shot. 

They are both sat in a tense silence for only a moment.

Over Cam’s shoulder

ALLISON

We both know you did this, so I am giving you one chance to make a deal. All I need is her location. Your choice.

Shot 10. Medium close up of Cam.

Cameron sits forward before answering.

CAM

No.

Shot 11. Close up side shot of Allison.

Allison is becoming impatient and stressed with Cameron.

ALLISON

Okay, why don’t we try this again? How do you know Lara? Where i-

Lara is cut off by a double knock on the door.

Shot 11. Mid shot of Cam as he stands (camera follows him, from sitting to standing)

CAM

I guess that means my solicitor is here.

Cam scrapes his chair across the floor while standing.

Shot 12. Medium close up of Allison.

Allison closes her eyes and exhales while he is passing her.

Allison opens her eyes and looks off into the distance the door slams behind her hard.
